EVANSTON, IL (January 6, 2012) – D3D Cinema (D3D) is pleased to announce the hiring of museum industry veteran Jolie Kass as Director of Theater Sales and Business Development.  Kass comes to D3D by way of Arts and Exhibitions International, where she directed the operations of AEI’s blockbuster exhibitions, most notably Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs.  In this role, she collaborated closely with museum colleagues around the world to achieve record-breaking attendance.  Additionally, Jolie was actively involved in AEI’s pioneering of the first touring D3D exhibition theaters, which ran D3D’s film Egypt 3D: Secrets of the Mummies as the official companion film to AEI’s Tut and Cleopatra exhibits.

“We are thrilled that Jolie has decided to join D3D Cinema,” said Don Kempf, President.  ”For the better part of the past decade, Jolie has run the key operational aspects of the world’s most popular travelling exhibition, King Tut, at museums around the country.   She brings a wealth of hands-on experience and business savvy to our team.”

“I am delighted to join the D3D Cinema team,” said Kass.  “I’ve worked with museums and cultural institutions from London to New York, and have seen firsthand how D3D Cinema delivers a more meaningful and exciting museum experience.  Digital films in an immersive theater environment resonate with museum visitors and create lasting impressions.  My new position at D3D Cinema is the next step in working with museums and the cultural community to deliver audience experiences that are informative, educational and entertaining.”
