Don is President and Founder of D3D Cinema.  Don started D3D with a mission to bring enriching and impactful theatrical experiences to audiences worldwide, with a belief that D3D would play a leading role in the exciting expansion of digital theaters at museums, science centers, aquariums, zoos, and other destinations around the world.  Don is also President and Co-Founder of Giant Screen Films, one of the world’s leading large-format film production companies.

Andy oversees business strategy, project development, and theater partnerships for D3D, serves as a producer on D3D’s original productions and played an integral role in the company’s establishment.  Andy joined D3D’s large-format/IMAX sister company Giant Screen Films in 2006 and serves in a similar business development and film production capacity for both companies.  Prior to D3D and GSF, Andy served as Director of Business Operations at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, where he managed multiple theatrical venues.  With degrees in Zoology and Film Production from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, he is passionate about natural history documentary film making.

Mark joined Giant Screen Films in 2015 to help strategically expand the company’s global film distribution and business development, as well as contribute to the continuing expansion of the museum theater network through GSF’s sister company, D3D Cinema. For over 30 years, Mark released and distributed more diverse and original films than anyone in the history of the giant screen and museum cinema industry. Prior to GSF, he was President of Distribution for National Geographic Studios from 2006-2015. Before National Geographic, Mark headed up distribution for nWave Pictures from 1998-2005, was VP of Sales for Sony Pictures Classics from 1994-1998, and managed Film Distribution for Imax Corp. from 1988-1993. Mark is also a past Chairman of the Board for the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA).

Art came to D3D upon its inception in 2009, bringing over 15 years of experience in entertainment technology, film, and museum management.  After working as a technician and live sound engineer, he spent 8 years at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, where he was the Director of Theaters and Technical Services.  Art’s background provides a solid understanding of the benefits and challenges that museums and other institutions face with rapidly changing technology.  As Vice President of Technical Services for D3D, he oversees theater design and integration, production services, and systems support.

Rob joins us as Vice President of Systems Engineering, bringing a wealth of experience from his most recent role at X20 Media in custom Digital Signage (HW/SW) solutions, along with over a dozen years’ expertise with major D3D supplier Barco, Inc. in Senior Technical and Product Applications Engineering roles.  In addition to supporting D3D’s Systems Engineering and training team, Rob will be developing new ancillary capture-amplifying technologies for our museum clients, including networked point-of-purchase, wayfinding, and promotional signage. Rob is based in Sacramento, CA.

Chris has assumed his new role as D3D’s Vice President of Operations, applying his extensive knowledge and experience to D3D’s Project Management and Logistics efforts. Along with taking a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the business, Chris is also managing D3D’s Post Production facilities. Chris’ vast industry experience and knowledge has been developed over the better part of two decades of service with major D3D supplier Christie Digital Systems, Inc. He has worked in a variety of progressive roles, from Field Service and Service Management through Technical Sales Management and Sales Account Management.  Chris is based in Roseburg, Oregon.

Richard brings over twenty-five years of successful ‘display technology’ engineering experience to D3D. While working for NEC Corporation in both Europe and the USA, he provided engineering management of customer support and product training activities, latterly concentrating solely on Digital Cinema projects. Prior to joining D3D, Richard spent seven years with MasterImage 3D as Director of Engineering, providing ‘real-world cinema’ insight to product R&D and managing the global customer support network for installation, technical documentation, product training, and issue resolution. As Director of Service & Support at D3D Richard will be heading up the management of technical support services to all of D3D’s clients while supporting with installation activities at new locations.

Based in Valencia, Spain, Domingo leads D3D’s European office, directing new theater sales, digital system integrations, and film distribution in Europe.  He is a longtime museum veteran, having worked in business administration for 13 years at Valencia’s distinguished City of Arts and Sciences museum and L’Hemisfèric, catering to over 3 million public and school visitors. Managing a staff of 120 museum professionals, Domingo oversaw all programming, exhibitions, and operations in the museum and theaters, including an IMAX Dome, 3D digital venue, and planetarium.  He has an Executive MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School and has long shared a passion for cinematography and motion pictures, working from a young age alongside his father in the family photography shop.
